It’s been a while!
I thought I would drop in and kick start 2019 (albeit 2 months late) by telling you all about some of the personal projects I have been working on. I have a few fun commissions I want to share here soon as well, but one thing at a time.
The first project is a range of temporary tattoos designed to be use as aids against suicidal ideation and the urge to self-harm. Each tattoo is small and discrete, designed to provide a dose of positive self-talk and affirmations. There are three sets currently available, and they include aspects of the butterfly project and the semicolon project.
The great thing about these tattoos is that they are made from a special adhesive which is easy to peel off at the end of each day without having to scrub at them - it's a bit like peeling off dried glue and oddly satisfying!
For every tattoo pack sold, $2 AUD goes to the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders, a not-for-profit organization providing education, support, advocacy, and resources for those affected by PMDD and PME. If you’re interested, you can find them all listed in my Etsy shop.
The other big addition to my shop has been a massive range of holographic and vinyl art stickers created with my illustrations. I say this like it is a new thing, but I’ve had stickers in my shop for a while now. The difference is that I have gone completely bonkers in the last few months and added a lot more. Apparently people really like stickers and I’m not going to complain about that.
Like I said, there are a lot. It’s problem a bit of a problem, if I’m honest. I mean, this isn’t even all of them.
But if you’re like me, and you have the urge to cover every available surface with art and other pretties, go ahead and check these guys out. Go on, give me another reason to create more stickers.
